An noted balance of form and function
The Zenith El Primero Chronomaster moonphase, whether it is cased in bear up or in gold, is truly deserving of praise. Zenith have struck the perfect ponder between a handsome design of classic proportions, and mated it with its own legendary 410 moving parts. The finish of all aspects of this watch, from the guilloche dial to the see-through back, even down to the deployment clip on the leather strap, are what one expects of a chronometer from a top Swiss firm with a proud news. Zenith's reputation comes from its movement - the firm is one of the few to make its own movements and it's El Primero gesticulation is so good that Rolex Daytonas carried it up until the late 1990s. The El Primero Chronomaster is stylish enough to wear confidently with a suit and french cuffs, but is also a great unpremeditated watch to wear on weekends with a polo and chinos. This watch is also at all the most outstanding chronograph when we talk about value for money. It is a COSC certified clock, with all the functions and high-end aesthetics that can be found in a Patek for 10 times the price. It does not have the gargantuan dimensions of so many complications, and is a masculine but not disgusting alternative to the all-too-common Rolex and Omega sports watches. It is one for connoisseurs of Swiss watchmaking as well as population who seek quality and not merely fashion at the heart of their watches.

The Surpass
I've had the Zenith El Primero Moonphase Chronograph for four years and I fondness it! First of all it keeps good time, secondly, it's got a stop watch purpose and thirdly, I'm always looking for the date. There are very few watches out there that give you all this plus a moonphase, day and month. It is self winding so there are no batteries to change. Mine is rose gold which is rare and beautiful. The alligator strap will last about a year. Return it with a leather strap from Tourneau for about $25.00.
You won't see many of these out there. Shop the internet for the best prize. Mine came from Hong Kong!
