Replacing a rado dial?
Q: I have a hierloom mens rado from my dad. It is a 1986 diastar (Grieving gold model). The watch runs perfect. The dial has some rust in some of the hr points. My did not pass slowly it for so long and that caused the rust. My question is can this be fixed/cleaned by a neighbouring watch repairer? or do I need to ship to rado authorized care center? I made a local enquiry with one of the leading watch dealers and they are asking $400 for it. The new supervise (similar model) costs $540. I would like to keep my dad's qui vive for but would like to fix it cheap. Any suggestions please let me know.
