Girard-Perregaux has a lengthy narrative spanning over 200 years. In 1791 Jean Francois Bautte opens a works in Geneva which was later sold to a bridegroom and mate band Unvarying Girard and Marie Perregaux in 1854. Two years later the band untouched its name to Girard-Perregaux. It was in 1867, a centre pocket watch with a tourbillon and three gold bars bridges was introduced. This nature made its repetition in 1991, in a wristwatch shape.
