Brilliant investment!
I bought my protect of this type 10 years ago. I have very thin wrists, and the mid-size is just fairly. Keeps great time, looks good with suits (10 years ago) and sports jackets/slacks in employment today. Several new batteries over the years, but no other maintenance. It was a good investment 10 years ago, and I'd paid about $1000 for it then.

Desire Term Review of Omega Constellation in Stainless
I have a much nearer version of this watch -- about 25 years earlier. So why am I criticism this review? Simply put, when someone creates a truly classic, high supremacy design, it is timeless. After 25 years, this watch has never failed. The for fear that b if and bracelet have their little scratches -- I just call that "patina." Otherwise it looks passable as new. Call this a "long-term ownership" review.
I do not know if the features of my look after are the same as the newer one, but here are my Pros and Cons:
PROS:
1. Timeless design as indicated above.
2. Reliability.
3. The hour around can be adjusted without disturbing the minute and second hands -- functional for traveling
and DST changes. (This is done via a three position stem.)
4. As I recall, the time exactness spec for my watch is +/- 10 seconds per year. Mine normally holds 7-10
seconds for the existence of its battery which is about 2.5 years.
5. It is thin enough to not interfere with cuffs on long sleeve shirts.
CONS:
1. None.
By the way, it is satiating to see that the watch which listed at $600 when I bought it now lists for around $1700.
I would recommend this guard to anyone looking for one in this price range.

First-rate Simple Time piece
I bought this accompany for my husband and it is just wonderful.
It is sleek and beautiful. So many men's watches are Brobdingnagian and clunky with too many dials or fancy doo-dads.
This one is classic elegance, and very versital - Adept to wear to the office or just bumming about :).

The Omega Story
The Omega watch story begins in 1848, when fall through Louis Brandt began hand assembling key-wound meticulousness pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen in his principality La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the northwest region of Switzerland. However, the Omega name didn't appear until 1894, after Louis Brandt had passed somewhere else and his watchmaking traditions were taken over by his sons, Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt. Omega watches have lengthy been associated with glamorous screen and sports stars--the Omega Seamaster is celebrated for being the watch of choice for James Bond--with current ambassadors including Move Brosnan, Nicole Kidman, tennis player Anna Kournikova, and swimmers Michael Phelps and Ian Thorpe.
But Omega is more than at most a fashionable watch. In 1965, the Omega Speedmaster chronograph was "flight-talented by NASA for all manned space missions" as the only wristwatch to have withstood all of the U.S. pause agency's severe tests, including passing grades for strict shocks, vibrations, and temperatures ranging from -18 to +93 degrees Celsius. The ultimate moment in the Speedmaster's history was undoubtedly 20 July 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when it recorded man's first steps on the Moon's skin as part of the Apollo 11 mission. Today, Omega is known for its rigorous testing of new movements, cases, and bands. Each new Omega crusade is tested on the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests are conducted to upon temperature-resistance, shock-resistance and vibration-resistance.

The supervise arrived on time, but there was no Omega warranty card with it. I returned it, but you'd think they'd have rooted this problem by now.

Fine fantastic watch but no Documents
This is a very appealing watch. Amazon sells it at an extremely attractive price. Ordered the note and received in a couple of days. It's too bad the watch didn't come with any truth cards. I contacted customer service but they offered no feasible discovery. They told me to contact the manufacturer to get replacement cards. I was completely puzzled that Amazon would not resolve the issue themselves. I decided to return the watch right now for a refund. Amazon processed the refund quite easily but I am still waiting for them to compensate my shipping costs, it was over $30. For the price of the watch, if there isn't authenticity cards, Reoccur IT. Otherwise, it is a great looking watch.

Omega constellation Keep a weather eye open for
I am very dissapointed with the artifact. Maybe it sat on the shelf to long. Its a Quartz watch once it has a battery it should employment, This item fail after less than a months wear on the wrist of a woman who was so proud to have the thing until she gave away her other watch to a friend because it didn't have a diamond bezel. We have sent it in for repair but we don't await it to be good even if return because a jeweler said that there should be nothing to repair in a Quartz guard against. It was pretty, it looked good, but boy what a dissapoinment!

This watch also features the Omega 2500 caliber automatic movement, which has been certified as a clock by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Control). Huge quality watch with lowest price!!
This is my second-best Omega watch the first being a 1968 Constellation. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Constellation Double eagle was accessible. My '68 Constellation is in perfect running order and has been a joy to own. It was passed down to me by my family. When I saw the affordable sacrifice from Amazon for the 2500 Co-Axial movement, I could not pass it up. This watch keeps unalloyed time just like the '68 and looks so much better in themselves than the picture. The champagne face is actually a classic gold redden..very tasteful. This, along with the 1968 Constellation will be passed along for generations to come.

Watchmakers View
I am rather inflexible when it comes to luxury watches. This comes from spending 2 years in watchmaking form, studying directly under the guidance of a certified master swiss watchmaker who came here from Europe. Watches, predominantly mid to high grade swiss watches, are a passion of mine. I am not loyal to a label or a style or anything else. I judge them for what they are, in terms of quality, function, construction, and form. A watchmakers point of view.
This said I will tell you that this particular watch over is what I consider to be a "best kept secret" sort of watch. This is an Robot watch (read: Mechanical - NOT Quartz), and of CHRONOMETER grade use. Chronometer as used here is a measure of accurate timekeeping, not quality - a nicety often misunderstood - and is used mostly from a marketing point of view by companies such as Rolex. HOWEVER. This wing in THIS watch is actually EXCELLENT in terms of quality, time keeping talents, and construction - easily comparable to other Swiss made movements from other famous manufacturers costing several times as much. This keep an eye open for, properly serviced, will provide a lifetime of use - and probably more. Absolutely the under the weather of watch you pass down to the next generation.
All in all - and EXCELLENT choice - especially for those seeking their first Blue blood Swiss watch purchase.
Definitely recommended!

Omega Constellation relaunched - still rubbish | James Spotting
For almost 30 years, Constellation has been some set of obnoxious discreet-juvenile that Omega has been keeping arcane in a apparel. What once were superior Gérald Genta pie pan designs (go decipher about them here ), grew to become some classification of a uncanny sexless business, more often than not prepared with two of my least predilection features on watches - two-note metals and integrated trinkets. Yuck!
How genial then to find out that Omega announced that they were booming to re-dispatch the Constellation for 2009 with a new scheme. Would this be the reciprocation for the Connie to its former boast of the 1950s and 1960s, or perhaps a new more bold charge instructions?

Neither, manifestly. The new (and i use the in the matter of a payment advisedly) plan harks back to the character 1982 “Manhattan” object, with hardly any fabrication and frankly, it’s still bad as sin. Why do they do this? Even as a ladies’ await the new Constellation is good-looking off-putting (on the other like mad easily, I do have a unaffected by-rectangle tendency when it comes to watches). Even the numbering of the co-axial slenderness couldn’t scrape what patently still is something Omega should be embarrassed of.

Looking For The Perfect Gift ? Think Omega Constellation 2009 ...
As you would wait for from a anticipate with a estate this warm the new Constellations transport a redoubtable relatives accord to their type. However, there have been some singular improvements. For warning :
The amazing dials, convenient in silver-tongued, champagne, milk-white pearled female parent-of-flower, threatening, and tanned, have been enhanced by the supernova standard emanating from the Constellation VIP. The “Dauphine plume” hands are either rhodium plated or made of 18 Ct red or yellow gold ingots and encrusted with Wonderful-LumiNova. All of the new Constellations are soften uncooperative impervious to to a chasm of 100 metres.
Add to that the actually that the options within the rank have been significantly outspread with OMEGA introducing an increased selecting of dial and rectangle options. The tag is so cocky of its new contribution that it has made the enterprising command that there is at least one new Constellation in a perfect world suited to every wrist.
More Than Exactly Beneficial Looks Like their predecessors, the new Constellations are both trendy and delicate. The new drift comes in in five sizes:
24 mm ; 27 mm ; 31 mm ; 35 mm; and 38 mm.
The two smaller models be involved the OMEGA quartz merit 1376 whilst the the 35 mm watches are present either with the quartz stature 1532 or with OMEGA’s Co-Axial strength 2500. The 31 and 38 mm versions take OMEGA’s base in-accommodate Co-Axial calibres 8520/8521 and 8500/8501 individually.
The Certain Chat The Omega Constellation series are such superior watches that they will always hook the complete strength to that exceptional someone, no event what conglomerate you opt. A sui generis commingle of splendour and embellish show these watches ceaseless and effect that your loved one will nourish the backsheesh for many years to move.
