Horrible investment!
I bought my to of this type 10 years ago. I have very thin wrists, and the mid-size is just favourable. Keeps great time, looks good with suits (10 years ago) and sports jackets/slacks in appointment today. Several new batteries over the years, but no other maintenance. It was a good investment 10 years ago, and I'd paid about $1000 for it then.

Want Term Review of Omega Constellation in Stainless
I have a much faster version of this watch -- about 25 years earlier. So why am I handwriting this review? Simply put, when someone creates a truly classic, high characteristic design, it is timeless. After 25 years, this watch has never failed. The proves and bracelet have their little scratches -- I just call that "patina." Otherwise it looks A-OK as new. Call this a "long-term ownership" review.
I do not know if the features of my look at are the same as the newer one, but here are my Pros and Cons:
PROS:
1. Timeless design as indicated above.
2. Reliability.
3. The hour help can be adjusted without disturbing the minute and second hands -- of use for traveling
and DST changes. (This is done via a three position stem.)
4. As I recall, the time exactness spec for my watch is +/- 10 seconds per year. Mine normally holds 7-10
seconds for the biography of its battery which is about 2.5 years.
5. It is thin enough to not interfere with cuffs on long sleeve shirts.
CONS:
1. None.
By the way, it is pleasing to see that the watch which listed at $600 when I bought it now lists for around $1700.
I would recommend this examine to anyone looking for one in this price range.

Omega constellation Timepiece
I am very dissapointed with the output. Maybe it sat on the shelf to long. Its a Quartz watch once it has a battery it should industry, This item fail after less than a months wear on the wrist of a woman who was so proud to have the mention until she gave away her other watch to a friend because it didn't have a diamond bezel. We have sent it in for fixing up but we don't expect it to be good even if return because a jeweler said that there should be nothing to repair in a Quartz wary of. It was pretty, it looked good, but boy what a dissapoinment!

Flexible
This on the lookout for is very versatile. You can wear it anywhere any time. It is heavy for it's size but light as far as mens watches go. It is outrageously durable. I wear it diving, working in the yard, at the office, to feast, where ever. It is amazing the times I have accidently dragged this watch against a brick fence on a crowded street and it still does not have a scratch on the sapphire crystal. It is a famed value for a swiss timepiece.

This is an Knee-jerk watch (read: Mechanical - NOT Quartz), and of CHRONOMETER grade r. Chronometer as used here is a measure of accurate timekeeping, not quality - a bottom often misunderstood - and is used mostly from a marketing point of view by companies such as Rolex. HOWEVER. This gesture in THIS watch is actually EXCELLENT in terms of quality, time keeping gift, and construction - easily comparable to other Swiss made movements from other famous manufacturers costing several times as much. This pore over, properly serviced, will provide a lifetime of use - and probably more. Absolutely the classification of watch you pass down to the next generation.
All in all - and EXCELLENT choice - especially for those seeking their first Status Swiss watch purchase.
