Brilliant investment!
I bought my eye of this type 10 years ago. I have very thin wrists, and the mid-size is just as the crow flies. Keeps great time, looks good with suits (10 years ago) and sports jackets/slacks in assignment today. Several new batteries over the years, but no other maintenance. It was a good investment 10 years ago, and I'd paid about $1000 for it then.

Yearn Term Review of Omega Constellation in Stainless
I have a much more rapidly version of this watch -- about 25 years earlier. So why am I theme this review? Simply put, when someone creates a truly classic, high characteristic design, it is timeless. After 25 years, this watch has never failed. The encase and bracelet have their little scratches -- I just call that "patina." Otherwise it looks good as new. Call this a "wish-term ownership" review.

I do not know if the features of my watch are the same as the newer one, but here are my Pros and Cons:

PROS:

1. Permanent design as indicated above.
2. Reliability.
3. The hour hand can be adjusted without unsettling the minute and second hands -- useful for traveling
and DST changes. (This is done via a three place stem.)
4. As I recall, the time accuracy spec for my watch is +/- 10 seconds per year. Mine normally holds 7-10
seconds for the person of its battery which is about 2.5 years.
5. It is thin enough to not interfere with cuffs on long sleeve shirts.

CONS:

1. None.

By the way, it is pleasing to see that the watch which listed at $600 when I bought it now lists for around $1700.

I would recommend this on the lookout for to anyone looking for one in this price range.

Pretty Simple Time piece
I bought this on one's guard for for my husband and it is just wonderful.

It is sleek and beautiful. So many men's watches are massive and clunky with too many dials or fancy doo-dads.

This one is classic elegance, and very versital - Big to wear to the office or just bumming about :).

A monstrous watch at unbeatible price from amazon
I only feel remorse for I did not buy it soon enough when it was only $1,290. I went to the stores in the mall to check out this awake to and I finally decided to buy it on Amazon. However, when I purchased it, the price has increased $70 (which is still over $200 cheaper than any of the stores I tried to count on with and I am usually a very tough bargainer). The item arrived in two days which is a worthwhile surprise. I thought it was going to take a week because I chosed the free shipping opportunity. The watch is very well packaged and it looks great. All my coworkers liked it. I will thoroughly buy another good watch from Amazon again.

Protean
This take heed of is very versatile. You can wear it anywhere any time. It is heavy for it's size but light as far as mens watches go. It is very durable. I wear it diving, working in the yard, at the office, to feast, where ever. It is amazing the times I have accidently dragged this watch against a brick try on a crowded street and it still does not have a scratch on the sapphire crystal. It is a keen value for a swiss timepiece.

Watchmakers Recommendation

This comes from spending 2 years in watchmaking coterie, studying directly under the guidance of a certified master swiss watchmaker who came here from Europe. Watches, outstandingly mid to high grade swiss watches, are a passion of mine. I am not loyal to a trade name or a style or anything else. I judge them for what they are, in terms of quality, function, construction, and make. A watchmakers point of view.

This said I will tell you that this particular clock is what I consider to be a "best kept secret" sort of watch. This is an Instinctual watch (read: Mechanical - NOT Quartz), and of CHRONOMETER grade use. Chronometer as used here is a measure of accurate timekeeping, not quality - a intent often misunderstood - and is used mostly from a marketing point of view by companies such as Rolex. HOWEVER. This machinery in THIS watch is actually EXCELLENT in terms of quality, time keeping skill, and construction - easily comparable to other Swiss made movements from other famous manufacturers costing several times as much. This look at, properly serviced, will provide a lifetime of use - and probably more. Absolutely the under the weather of watch you pass down to the next generation.

All in all - and EXCELLENT choice - especially for those seeking their first Standing Swiss watch purchase.

A quintessential Omega
This scrutinize performs like quintessential Omega self wind. The appearance of the sentry is pretty unpretentious to the uninitiated eyes, who would probably fancy a glitzy, ornate one.
But a watch lover would quickly appreciate it when spotted on your wrist.
I own this for one and partly years or so ... my first Omega and it lived up to its reputation. It is a self-wind await, so it goes down if not worn for 24 hours or so - but thats how all self-wrap up watches are. The crystal dome is scratch-proof indeed. In fact the inure casing is also of extremely high quality and scratch resistant. It keeps together within the precision the chronometer rating it came with.
I wear this at work, at parties, while working on the yard and also while skiing ... safe for all occasions.

The hands and time marks have stainless steel drink up whilst the dial is colored gray. The crystal dome does lay bare a bit, but visibility is not an issue for me. Also, in semi darkness, the fluorescent coating on hands and marks does a good-looking good job.

This watch is on the smaller side relative to other swiss men's watches; it suits narrower wrists - that was one of the reasons I chose this, and I am jubilant with that aspect of the watch.

Jomashop will not be upstanding a set behind its product
I inclination the watch. However, within 30 days of using it, the clasp broke. This should not encounter on a watch that is so expensive. When I contacted the Amazon retailor - Jomashop - they refused to fail to keep an appointment with support behind the defective product that they sent -- citing their limited assurance. Be careful. Jomashop is NOT an authorized Omega dealer and thus the Omega warranty is not valid. Unqualifiedly stated, when paying this much for a watch that should last a lifetime, don't buy from an unauthorized dealer such as Jomashop who will not withstand behind the product.

Hornet's nest watch
I bought this take note in Feb. 2004. In May 2004 it no longer kept time. It gained about 1 hour each day. It had to sent out for renewal which took 3 weeks. The watch is also difficult to read under certain lighting situation-the "anti-reflective crystal" is hardly that. It's a nice looking safeguard, but there are better choices.
