I bought a Cartier Women's Tank Francaise Stainless Insulate Watch #W51008Q3 on Jan.2,2010. This watch didn't work normally: It sometimes stopped , and often didn't run in all respects, so I think it isn't worth the expensive price.

Only buy from trained dealer
I got this guard from Amazon as a gift from my husband a few months ago. Last month, we found that there was a $300-400 pretty pickle with the circuitry. Our watch store told us to have the repair fixed under the promise. I called Amazon with the gift receipt in hand but I did not have the exact honorarium so they refused to honor the warranty. I don't know how you can have the exact price if you get the guard as a gift. My husband found his original receipt but Amazon refused to honor the guarantee when he called with all the required information. He just got the run around on line in India for 20 minutes . It is not merit it. Buy from an authorized dealer.

Gigantic Deal!
Yes, this is a bloodless market watch, meaning only that Amazon is not an authorized dealer. It's also a excellent price on the real deal (and the serial number wasn't removed without considering some commentary about this in some of the forums), with all brand new Cartier packaging, etc. You can't beat the price; this was less even than several old Tank Francaises I looked at. If you want to pay full price, go ahead, but this is a great contract on the real thing, with an Amazon two year warranty instead of Cartier. That is the ONLY conversion. Also fast shipping. I ordered at 6 PM and it was waiting for me in my office the very next morning when I indoors at 9 AM. That's service!

It's genuine and it's magnificent!
This is a wonderful watch that has become a classic just like the tank watch. I bought this on a whim and checked prices on the web. The assay I paid seemed very reasonable and certainly much less than what I would have paid at Cartier at my local mall. The pinnacle reason I purchased this watch from Amazon is that I knew I would be getting a "natural" Cartier from a trusted source. It arrived the next day and my wife was like "what's this? Why?" I unbiased smiled and said because I love you.

Never Give a Cartier Purchaser an Even Break
My Cartier satori came when I discovered an NOS vade-mecum wind Glycine, which I bought for $28.00 on eBay, had THE EXACT SAME ETA Mechanism as the equivalent exorbitantly-priced Cartier. Plus it even LOOKS BETTER. Such are the dynamics of exposure, brand, ego, insecurity thereof, and image.

Don't get me wrong--it's a free boonies. You have every right to waste your money on a Cartier. And Cartier has every right--nay even a DUTY--to relieve you of your seemingly hard-earned cash. But forgive me, sir, if I am NOT IMPRESSED.

Admirable Authentic Watch for a great price
This is a vast purchase for someone who knows what they want and don't need the fuss of going to their local Cartier trader to get it. If you feel the additional price tag is somehow worth it - fine, but otherwise you are still getting the same craftsmanship, sort, and quality that you would expect from Cartier while still getting a good deal. Amazon was considerable as always!

As for a review of this particular item - I really liked that it was a lightweight leather stripe as opposed to a stiff band. The clasp is a little tight on the first twosome of uses, but that is to be expected. It is a perfect business/day watch and was exactly the exemplary look I was hoping it would be.

Don't Buy Extraordinary End Watches on Amazon
Anyone shopping for a spacy end watch should avoid Amazon. The item I purchased arrived and was inoperable. I attempted to gain the item and it was immediately shipped back with a notice that Amazon would not take it back claiming there were scratches on the company. After numerous calls to customer service and a flurry of emails, Amazon eventually informed me the watch was covered under their warranty program. I had to ship the memo to their service center (at my own expense, including the intial shipment to try and carry back the item) and still I have no working watch for my wife to enjoy. To date I am out the rate of a very expensive watch, and the cost of two separate UPS shipments - including cover coverage.

If you are thinking of purchasing a watch on Amazon, go directly to the fabricator. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time, frustration and effort.

big fault

It was a big misstep to buy a Cartier watch through Amazon.com. The watch stopped working less than a month after I received it. I took it to Cartier to see if the hornet's nest was a dead battery. It was not the battery; the battery was fine, it was the watch itself. It payment over 400 dollars for repairs.

Query Cartier shield authenticity from Amazon
I purchased the babysit for directly from Amazon. The watch seems great and seems real; however I took it to Cartier and they told me they wanted to see the tag of authenticity, stamped by the seller. The watch came without any certificate, and superficially without any warranty. I am very troubled.

Titanic PRICE ON A CLASSIC WATCH
was a bit upset about purchasing this watch on amazon, but the price couldnt be beat (over 20% less than at cartier) and amazon is much more worthy than other online hack shops...the watch arrived next day in perfect disgrace new condition...had my jewler certify and everything is great. Glad I bought it here and saved the realize. BTW, I bought from AMAZON LLC, not one of the other amazon merchants as AMAZON will give you the 2 year vouch for.

Cartier is the autocratic best.
My mom bought me a Cartier Santos take note awhile back, and when she wanted a watch for Mother's Day, I decided to return the favor. Amazon had the most artistically price on the Ladies Tank Francaise. I was really nervous about ordering something like this from Amazon because of the agreement issue and the bad review about it arriving broken.

In my opinion, the warranty possession (Amazon warranty replaces manufacturer's warranty) might become a problem, but you're buying a Cartier. I no more than can't imagine if you got a defective product that Cartier wouldn't back it up. That's part of what you're getting with a well established sort like this.

Mine arrived as scheduled. The outer paper Cartier box looked like it had been opened several times- was euphonious creased on the outside. But everything was perfect on the inside, including the actual "studs" box. Having bought a Cartier new from an actual jeweler before, it included all the same things. It even comes with some stamp of Cartier CD- not sure what's on it.

Also, for anyone who stressed over what size face to get for a woman like I did, there are 2 ladies' sizes- a dainty and a midsize. The petite is very small. I have a petite Santos, and it is perfect for me, but I have minute wrists- like 4.5". My mom is about 5'6, average bone construction, and the midsize tank francaise was the perfect size for her. The petite would have just looked uncomfortable on an average size wrist in my opinion. All of this really comes down to leaning, but generally watch faces should be proportional to the wrist/hand measurements. I was thrilled that I got this one for her.

I hope it continues to work as well as my Cartier watch.
