Disaster with Cartier Santos Galbee Automatic Watch
I bought this safeguard and have been disappointed with its performance. The first piece was defective and the dealer replaced the guts mechanism when nothing else worked. Now I find that even if I wear the watch for whole day and take it off for the night, it stops working by about 9 in morning next day.
The businesswoman has yet to find a solution for this. I bought the watch in India.
When I tried to get help from the Paris branch of the company, I got shunted from one to another person.

Very meticulous watch, beatuifull design, but you need to have large wrist, the note is large, check the accurate measurment on cartier website, try this watch in any jewlery set aside before buying it, but the best price you will find it in amazon espicially when they have deal on it.

Tremendous Deal - Very Happy
It's been several months since I purchased this mind. I am so glad that I ordered this product from Amazon.com. I was very afraid I would receive a duplication of some sorts. That was not the case! This is the same watch I would have gotten directly from Cartier here in Chicago (I showed them the to)with two exceptions.
The first is that the warranty is not through Cartier but through Amazon. Normally, these watches simply don't crack down unless they are abused and/or not maintained properly. If a Cartier works correctly for a join of weeks when new, it will more than likely work for a couple of years. I trust that Amazon will refer to behind its warranty, just in case I need to use it.
The second exception is the value! I saved over $3000! While still expensive, I would be challenged to find a better looking and made gaze at for the price.

Anyone reading this don't hark to to the dumb guy that rated the watch 1/5 because apparently he doesn't cognizant of the difference between rating a product and the website since he rated Amazon and not the attend, *sigh* what a moron, anyways, The Cartier Santos 100 Chrono is BIG, so if you have small wrists go to your particular AD (authorized dealer) and try it on (I would recommend doing this for every watch you plan on buying), the look is beautiful and the layout of the sub-dials gives it a nice touch, the girlfriend is changed through a recessed pusher at the 10'o clock position, not through the climax like you would normally do, this watch uses an ETA Valjoux 7753 moving, in case you're wondering, very robust. Everything is smooth, and the strap is extremely serene! I rate this watch 5/5--!
Here's a tip, don't get the Two-Tone version just yet, get the SS and then get a jeweler to style you a custom 18Kt Gold bezel for it, and with the money you saved buy another watch (Hey, it's a $2,300 discrepancy!)! That's what I did, and they only charged me $500 for the bezel and work including the gold bars bar on the deployant, how cool is that? Both are 18Kt Yellow Gold, but you can customize it to whatever you like, platinum, diamonds, rose gold bars, etc. It will still be cheaper than $2,300!
Overall, I love this watch, it's perfect for anything, casual, traditional, etc. It's beefy, it stands out, and the dial is breathtaking! 5/5 for this piece of art!

Influential watch, horrible service
On the lookout for is truly beatiful, but service from Amazon Suc*s. I received the watch with inexpedient manual, and its been over 50dd and I have not received right manual, neither a follow up call from Amazon representatives to advised of the status of my order. DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH HERE. I know may seem well priced, but headache of dealing with amazon and its inept help/post sale lines is too much to handle.
