Not counting quality, head-turner
I have owned this pore over for almost 4 years, and I love it. It feels great, it harmoniously marries heft-with-dignity, and the band is very comfortable (no pinching hair/skin). I have often been complimented on it. I wouldn't have imagined myself as a $5K/be prepared guy before (bought it at a charity auction), but I have to say, it has been an excellent purchase. I have had no problems with the vigil mechanically. This year the clasp closure loosened up a little too much, but a neighbourhood jeweller fixed it in 5 minutes without charge. I have no hesitation to recommend this watchful of fully.

Low Long-Term Quality
I premeditated buying this watch and asked a good friend who owns one. He said his cautious of stopped working after 5 yrs. Cartier said the watch has to be sent in for preventive continuation every 3-5 yrs at a cost of $700. I don't think I want to spend $5000 on a peer at where I need to fork over $700 every 3 years. I went ahead and bought an Omega in preference to.

Poverty-stricken Quality for the money
i have had this on for a few years now and have had it sent back to the factory twice. Currently i am having a very sensitive time pulling the crown out of the watch to set the time and date. I would not mention favourably this watch for the money.

Cartier meets Relic
There is no deficiency of praise for this watch. And that is the problem. This is a mass advertised watch ill-matched with other Cartiers of the past. The result? Any status conscious person with a job is buying one and making this Cartier a inferior sight. One of the things that makes Cartier watches special, besides the understated politesse is that they are less ubiquitous than Rolex. Not anymore. Also, this model is a little too bulky looking for my soup in a Cartier; Breitling and Rolex maybe, Cartier, no.

Unbelievable Awesome Watch
So I have been reading some cold reviews about this watch on-line and I want to set the record straight. First of all, the id turns heads. It is simple, yet perfect. It's not so big (light those obnoxious Breitling watches with 6 knobs) that it feels uncomfortable or tacky. If you are willing to pop down $5000 for a watch, this is the one for you. Although it scratches easily, the Cartier Roadster really is a everlasting classic.

I had bought and already returned this anticipate. This was my first Amazon watch. Unfortunately I didn't get what was advertised as a new product and was very disapointed. It came in a ragged and torn outer white box with deep,aged red paint marks guts it. The watch itself did not have neither plastic protector wraps on the bracelet nor the original tags or promise cards from Cartier. At a heartbeat, looking at it, anyone could tell that the watch was either a high mileage splendour model or a worn item. At a closer look, without even a magnifier, I noticed some obvious scratches and dirt glued into the bracelet and the case. The back of the watch also had the signs of show.
I own quite a few of upscale timepieces, starting from Rolexes Daytona SS, 18K... and up to Vacheron, Audemars and Patek. Never notion of Cartier but ladies versions. So I know my watches.
Sadly it was an unpleasant circumstance for me and I think I have to disclose it.

a looker
Had a Rolex Submariner and indubitably consider the Cartier Roadster Chrono a trade up. I get tons of compliments on the watch. Amazon's evaluate is excellent (haven't seen a new one lower), altho I purchased from a restricted jeweler for the customer service aspect ($6200).

Terrific Watch
I got this care for as a college graduation gift from my parents. It is a really great await with a very modern design. I like the squarish face and it is not very common contrastive with Rolex's. It does indeed sratch easily so you have to be careful with that. Other then that it is a great look at that gets noticed. Cartier makes great watches and from my experience this is no take offence.

Cartier Roadster
Bought this keep an eye open for at Saks for 5800 approx. and due to platinum status I also get a 6% end of year pay. No tax. This price is awfully close to it, and the watch is great. Does scrape easily like all buffed stainless steel watches.
